Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 3, 2025
Our Commitment
CenterMarq Business and IT Services, LLC ("CenterMarq") is committed to ensuring that our website and digital experiences are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that every visitor should be able to navigate, understand, and interact with our content regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use.
Conformance Goal
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. WCAG 2.2 AA is the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility and is organized around four core principles:
- Perceivable — Information and user interface components are presentable to users in ways they can perceive, including text alternatives for images, captions for multimedia, and sufficient color contrast.
- Operable — User interface components and navigation are operable via keyboard, with enough time to read and interact with content, and no design elements that could cause seizures or physical reactions.
- Understandable — Information and the operation of the user interface are understandable, with readable text, predictable navigation, and helpful error identification.
- Robust — Content is robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Measures We Take
CenterMarq takes the following measures to support accessibility on our website:
- Semantic HTML markup with proper heading hierarchy across all pages
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and decorative image handling
- Sufficient color contrast ratios between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard-navigable interactive elements, including forms, menus, and call-to-action buttons
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
- ARIA attributes where appropriate to enhance the experience for screen reader users
- Responsive design that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Regular testing with automated accessibility tools and manual review
Third-Party Content
Our website includes embedded content and integrations from third-party services (such as Cal.com for scheduling and HubSpot for forms). While we select partners that share our commitment to accessibility, we cannot guarantee full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance for all third-party content. If you encounter accessibility barriers with any embedded feature, please contact us and we will work to provide an alternative means of access.
Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest two major versions)
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- Operating system accessibility features including high contrast mode, text scaling, and reduced motion preferences
Known Limitations
While we work toward full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance, there may be areas where our website does not yet fully meet every success criterion. Known limitations include:
- Some third-party embedded widgets (such as scheduling tools or analytics scripts) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA criteria
- Older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader access; we are working to remediate these as they are identified
We are actively and continuously working to identify and resolve these issues.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter barriers, have difficulty accessing any content, or need information in an alternative format, please let us know. When contacting us, it is helpful to include:
- The URL (web address) of the page where you experienced the issue
- A description of the accessibility barrier
- The browser and assistive technology you were using
- Your preferred method of contact so we can follow up
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within two (2) business days and to resolve reported issues as promptly as possible.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We regularly review our website against WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria, incorporate accessibility into our development process, and update our practices as standards and technologies evolve. This statement will be updated as we make progress and address identified issues.
